F@H trouble

I am trying to install F@H on my linux server because it is always on. but im having trouble getting it installed.

i downloaded FAH500-Linux.exe, executed it with chmod -x, then i tryed to start the client, and i got a permission denied message... this happens even when logged in as root... can anyone help me? thanx
 
ok ya... sry i read the install info page wrong...

ok, now that i have it installed... how can i add it to my startup? sry, im kind of a linux n00b... im using fedora core 2 and gnome

Yeah, there's a script that automates the process of setting up the F@H client to run as a service on various Unices. Read about and obtain it here.

Note that I have not had to set up F@H on Linux for a long, long time, so if you have any more questions, I suggest making a separate thread with a descriptive title in the forum here so we can get some of the other F@H-ers who are more Linux-knowledgeable involved. 🙂
