Hey TeAm,

GLeeM seems to have taken an indefinite vacation from stats so I'm going to do weekly stats every Saturday to keep things in the flow. I stopped Folding for now because of budget issues and electricity bills so until that is resolved, this is my contribution.

Just started folding again with my 9600gso! I'm really interested in seeing how many points it gets a day. Anyone know what kind of strain it puts on the card to fold all the time?

The strain can come from elevated temperatures because the GPU is working all the time.

You can get a nice easy app to monitor temps and fans here: GPU-Z

edit: I try to keep my temps below 70C for stability, but the card will be OK if it goes above that. 80C wouldn't worry me for the card.

You may need to manually set your fan speed on the Video card. I like RivaTuner for overclocking and fan control.
