Some of my remote machines haven't sent a result in a couple of days ... hope they aren't offline or so. 🙁

All I've been able to get is 600 point wu's 😀 (3 1140's in a row and now 1141)

Thanks for the stats Nate! 😎

Congrats to the MMs :thumbsup: , and it's good to see another challenge... are you guys racing to 100K?

Those 600-pointers sure are nice, had one come in this morning just after the stats update. Still haven't seen any of the new core WUs GLeeM mentioned the other day, I have -advmethods on and I'm still waiting.

My Barton 2800+ diskless Linux box is now up and running... looking good so far. Performance is as expected, just a smidge below to my A64s... it's working on some Tinkers now

It's been out for a while now, but wasn't showing up on many machines. I like'em. Good PPDs for me. Right now, I have one of them (1318) and a 600 point one (1141)

1318 = 231 PPD
1141 = 220 PPD

(yes, I know my machines aren't the fastest 😛 )

Thanks for the stats Nate :beer:

I feel like I'm on a highway at 4:00 in the morning.... I can see tail lights waaaaay up ahead of me fading into the horizon as they pull away and a couple dim headlights in the distance behind me slowly getting brighter and brighter. I could pull over and.... er..... 'use the bushes' but not a single passer by would drive by and honk at me.

Yeah, I really like 1140 and 1141 too... my 2.2 Winchester takes 50 hours to finish them, which works out to a solid 288 PPD.

As far as the other new WUs, I remember when GLeeM mentioned them he said they are all in the "1900s" and are on the new QMD core.

I headed over to the offical F@H forums and read this thread on QMD, apparently only about 1% of new WUs going out are QMD so it's no surprise that I haven't gotten any yet, even with -advmethods on.

LOL :laugh:

I'll put a keg in my trunk if you put a BBQ grill on the tailgate :thumbsup:

We'll get the speeders all liquored up and fat so we can keep up :evil:

edit: Didn't Green Day do a song about this? oh wait, they were walking alone :roll:

I have -forceasm and -advmethods applied. (I also answered YES when the the install asked if I would accept large work units)

My pleasure 🙂

Don't get bummed out if they don't show up right away.... their assignment seems to be getting pretty erratic. (I actually like the 13xx series better. They are worth about half the points, but fold in less than half the time of the 600 point Work Units.) Best advise is set the flags and don't sweat what gets dolled out... 'cause there isn't much rhyme or reason to it as far as I can tell.

drive on up here and join me and Nate for Beer and Weenies! 😀

For those who were asking about 600 point work units:

I just found that the .156 server is rejecting connections ("should be up and accepting connections, but is not) and it is "iced" (not assigning new work) at this time.

So if you are due to start a new work unit before they get it fixed, you won't be getting a 600 Point WU.

I ran the F@H on my laptop and after it finished and getting a new WU, restarted the program once, its now running on a description of "large WU startup (xxxx)" and it has been running for a few hours. I've never encountered this before and wonder how does this procedure goes.
