Congrats 🙂

57,831 points this period brings our total up to 14,209,498. We had a great day production wise. A couple more days like that and thing will be looking very good🙂 Our active users are continuing to be consistent wich I think is great. We have knocked 3 days of our overtake estimate of SpeedGuide.net wich is now 14 days away.

If I have missed anything or if you have any comments or suggestions, let me know.

Useful getting started info can be found here: ProviaFan's and MDE's (Join TeAm AT F@H, We could use your help🙂)

New users will not appear until they have completed a Work Unit under team 198

Milestones are as follows: 1,000, 5,000, 10,000, after 10k milestones will be given at 10k intervals up to 200k, after 200k milestones will be given every 100k.

Thanks for the stats...

I have just received components for a homebuilt PC that I have helped one of my colleagues buy... Now I'll just have to assemble it, and then I suppose I better burn it in for him. (He's on vacation for a full wek or so)
I'm actually quite eager to get it assembled, as it is the first time I'm getting my hands on a Athlon 64. I also suspect that my colleague is quite eager, as it will be quite a step up from the PC he got now: P2 450MHz (iirc) :Q

I intend to overclock it as much as possible, and then back down some 10% of the overclock in order to assure stability as much as possible. Do any of you know, if there is anything I should now before/after assembling/overclocking it ? This platform is new to me, so I'm not up-to-date.

Just read the post by Zebo that's stickied in the overclocking forum. That will get you off to a good start. Also read the Memory matrix thread (also by Zebo) to see for yourself the value of bandwidth and ram timings on A64. Basically, don't be afraid to use dividers-there's a penalty, but not nearly as much as AXP or P4.

Congratulations to the Milestone Makers!

Llamas, welcome to the 25K Club 😛

Thanks ntg 🙂

Thanks for the stats Nate!

ME, you're gonna want to keep that video card for yourself! I'm running V9999GTs here (6800GT, 256MB, 400/1100) and All I can say is..... forget the posts by those who don't own them... these are AWSOME pieces of hardware. note: don't run the ASUS enhanced driver or the hardware doctor software. Use the Beta drivers linked on the NVIDIA site (67.66) then run RivaTuner once and check the box to allow overclocking. Then in the normal NVidia display properties you will have your OC options. (so you won't need RivaTuner from that point on) use the button to identify the "ideal clock settings" then back them off just a tad. mine identified 417/1.13 and 415/1.15 for my cards and backed off to 400M/1.1G (same speed as the ultras) has been rock solid.

Enjoy buddy.. that's going to be one hell of a box 😎
