Seems like my numbers are fluxuating like mad. I'll finish 2 WU's and get 600+ points one hour, the next hour I may only get 100-200 points for 2 WU's. My 24 hour average will jump from 200-400 and back again. Something change in the last couple months?

With the newer big point WUs your average ppd does change wildly. They take longer to finish and that is what messes it up, plus they get a double bonus.

Trouble is that they are not available 24 hours a day, only for a few minutes per hour (usually). It is a luck of the draw thing mostly.

I have been quietly bemoaning the fact that my P4 laptop was only getting small work units when I just looked and it has a "p2355_ADAh2" that is worth 683 points.........

And did everyone see the 1294 point wu? :Q

Nathan, is that better than usual ppd for that computer?

I think these are DGromac WUs. They use double precision math and should give very good ppd on computers with SSE2.

I just hope they are stable. I would hate to get to 90+% and have it blow up and not get any points

The final deadline is 355 days!?! LOL

If you look here, they are numbered 1808, 1809, 1850 & 1851

I've had WU's crash on me, but I don't lose all my points. It just sends the work I had completed prior to it crashing. The last time I totally lost my work was a few months back. Now I end up sending like 1 point of work continuously (or some trivial point amount) until I receive a new WU that doesn't crash.

I can't remember exactly but I think I get ~210 ppd from the 600 point wu's. Sadly my xp 3200 doesn't have SSE2 instructions. This new project (p2358_CI2) gives me ~190 ppd

So they are good ppd for a regular WU
