Concerning the Tinker's some of us have been talking about. Apparently Stanford has found some `interesting` results using the Tinkers. So maybe they wanted to get more of them in circulation. No idea what `interesting` thing they found, maybe a breakthru or something.... It is hard for a stats junkie like me to get those slow, low point Tinkers, but in the end when that major breakthru does come, it will all be worth it.

Agreed !!!!

But as far as performance concerned, The tinkers are slower than Gromacs but give less stress to CPU. I am not sure if this's true but from my last Tinkers, I have seen that my temperature not as high as when I've been folding for Gromacs. Yesterday temperature here is SoCal. was kind of hotter if not the same as day before, but my system temp. was kind of 3-5C cooler than usual. This is becuz I was folding for Tinkers all day long.

So for ppl who concerned about temperature, and system stablitity, they might try Tinkers instead of Gromacs for the piece of mine. I'd say slow but sure is not bad at all, right?.
