f@h SMP closes immediately!

Last week sometime I tried to turn on the f@h SMP client after a reboot, and as soon as I click the fah.exe it opens a command window for a split second and then closes it. I'm confused here - this computer gets rebooted all the time, and I haven't had any problems with this client. Is this a well-known issue, or something I can fix?

Thanks@!!

Looks like you need to uodate the version that you are using. The clients are in beta and when the beta expires the program does what you describe.

I think waffleironhead is on it

Re-boot to stop all f@h stuff and then just download the new one, double-click it to install (to the same directorie(s) as before) and do not say yes when it asks to remove earlier versions. You shouldn't even need to run install.bat again.

Thanks for the assistance guys- I'll give it a try in the morning. I'm down to just 3 cores crunching, and I'm starting to get the shakes!

i had the same problem. it was because the beta expired. if i started it in the task manager, it gave me the error message so i DLed a new version.
