F@H slow the first time run...

Why is it that it feels like it takes what I think is forever to complete a work unit the first time F@H is run but once that work unit is completed, WUs following it are much much faster?
 
Seems like they all take forever to me.
I ran SETI for almost 5 years doing up to 50 WUs a day. Hard to adjust to doing 1 WU a dayat best.

SOB's kinda the same though too.




Still fun though 🙂
 
The first WU is almost always a slow Tinker unit. They probably do that on purpose because those WUs will run on just about anything.
