F@H sleeping...

Came home tonight and found my GPU client "sleeping" with a yellow exclamation mark over it in the tray. Tried restarting the client, no luck. Tried rebooting the computer, no luck. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, also no luck. It just immediately goes back into sleeping mode.

Anyone else seen this and have any idea what to do?

Found a solution.

Uninstalled the client.
Deleted the working folder.
Reinstalled the client.
Got error messages saying the GPU wasn't supported.
Updated my driver from 177.35 --> 177.41 and rebooted.
F@H started right up and is now happily crunching away again.

Computers: can't live with em, well, you know the rest...

A? that's wierd 😕 if that was the error then why did it work before?? lol
Did the client auto update?

Really don't know what happened there. It was cranking out good results all day (checked my hourly results and there were no lapses or "pointless" results) and then just went to sleep. The F@H FAQ mentiones sleeping can be caused if a gpu returns invalid results five times in a row (they assume it's overclocked too high or something else is causing instability so they sleep the client while you fix your card). But that doesn't appear to have happened here, and my rig has been folding happily away since I fixed it.

Just a note, use the same hacked .inf from 177.35 to install 177.41 correctly (copy/paste into the new directory).

A glitch? it's a beta after all. Maybe you should report the problem at FAH forums too so they know about it.
