For the last 5 hours both machines running the GPU clients can't get work packets -

here's a snippet of the log file fromone of the machines:

[06:00:58] + Attempting to send results
[06:01:14] - Core type used on unit not what server demands.
[06:01:14] Successfully sent unit 00 to Collection server.
[06:01:14] - Preparing to get new work unit...
[06:01:14] + Attempting to get work packet
[06:01:14] - Connecting to assignment server
[06:01:14] + No appropriate work server was available; will try again in a bit.
[06:01:14] + Couldn't get work instructions.
[06:01:14] - Attempt #1 to get work failed, and no other work to do.
Waiting before retry.

...[07:27:46] - Attempt #11 to get work failed, and no other work to do.
Waiting before retry.

The PS3 is crunching along as normal.

Is anyone else stuck, attenpting to get a work packet?

171.64.122.76 is in "accept" mode but there are no WUs available on that server
171.64.65.20 went into "reject" mode last night just before 11PM PDT (50,000+ WUs available on that server).

Since it's 5:30 AM in CA, it may be awhile before .20 comes back up!;)

Maybe they had a big lab barbeque last evening!:p

Folding@Home server status shows lots of information. I don't know what servers GPU2 uses, but the "% Ass G" column total only shows 11% (now it shows 8%, the window will refresh on its own every so often).
With the regular client, if you add the "-verbosity 9" flag to the startup shortcut the log will show more information including the server IP address. Maybe it will also work with the GPU2 client.

I use the server status page quite often to see what WUs are going out.

Yes, the server status page is very useful. the Nvidia GPU2 client uses the 2 servers noted in my post above. ToTOW sent a PM to Pande to restart the 171.64.65.20 server. He or someone from the lab will do it when they get to the lab.

cheers!

Edit: corrected the server IP address. ;)

Thanks biodoc and Gleem for the server status link and server IP addresses.

Withdrawal from point accumulation is a terrible thing.
