F@H: Planned shutdown (21-Mar-2003)

From: Folding@Home News
The power in our building is being rerouted and we are being forced to have a planned shutdown. We will likely take all of the F@H servers off line Friday, March 21 around 5pm PST and then bring them up around 1pm Saturday, March 22. The exact times may change slightly. We had a previous planned shutdown like this which went relatively smoothly and we hope that this will go smoothly as well.
Since I'm not sure how many F@H TeAm members read the F@H news log, I decided to post this little tidbit of information after carrying on an extended debate with myself on whether or not it was useful enough to warrant a trip to the forums and a postcount++;

Anyway, perhaps the waiting time during that outage would be a good time to do those big upgrades that you know you've always wanted to do. Or, you could just relax and take some time to think of new systems to assimilate. 😉

haha, yeah, good to know. Time for memtest then 🙂 Still need to find out what is stable with my memory :-/ And if I can OC the CPU more 😀
