There are 8 of these at school, but they dont seem to like SETI too much .

Looking for a beneficial project such as folding, etc.

They are POWERPC G3 with 128mb of ram. Running OS X.

what is the difference between DF and F@H? *starts looking it up*

These systems are the all in one macs. Looks like a big bulbous blue monitor. Not super fast computers but I thought some projects might run better on them than SETI, which takes 25+ hrs.

DF or F@H I'd be glad to join, but they mention 160MB of ram, and 256MB of ram. Whatever I run on here can't monopolize the ram that is in them

Folding @ home is getting stuck @ downloading work pack..... I think the firewall may be being ornery

what kind of firewall do you have on your system. I'm not sure if I can help you all the way through, I don't use Mac but I will try my best.

Its my college firewall.


Do you normally enter in proxies, or no? Is there a default proxy i can try?

We're really falling behind there in production, some other teams have had successful recruiting campaigns! The situation is "by no means lost", if only...
