Statsman is down.

Check Extreme Overclocking's Stats for current standings.

Someday, I've got to figure out my own stats from the raw numbers out of Stanford.

If anyone can suggest a USER FRIENDLY database for Linux, I would appreciate it.

It needs to...

1. Dig TeAm members out of a 7 MB text file with some 350,000 F@H members.

2. Produce a daily production file in comma delimited form.

3. Find new members

EOC's stats don't seem to be updating...

WUs completed as shown on stanford stats for me do not match what is shown here...

(YES, I am configured for team 198)

Sorry guys, Statsman was working normally earlier today, but there are no individual stats again.

This is ticking me off.

I think Stanford is having problems that cascade to the stats sites.

I'm studying about database design (an on my own "class" with an ebook 😉), but by the time I know how to open a connection to a MySQL database from PHP, GeoffS could have an entire F@H stats system built. At first I told him that I'd try to do the job, but maybe it would be better if he went ahead and got the ball rolling in that direction. For that matter, Hyperfocal, if you want somebody to talk to about doing databases and stats systems, he's probably the best (having done stats for pretty much every other smaller project out there).

Geoff is the database dude for sure

Thanks for the effort Hyperfocal, we appreciate it. Hopefully someone can rectify this, Stanford is getting a LOT of stats junkies ticked 😛. I also added a Duron 1.6\KT266a that may blow a capacitor at any moment, but it's a cruncher .
