Thanks for the stats kb3edk.
5 more days until the honeymoon........then the stats really go in the toilet since all but one rig will be turned off for at least 9 days.

Yeah :D You missed sunburn, & cold rain.

Twelve miles and seven portages was too far for two kids not yet into manhood and an oldtimer well past his prime

Anyone know if F@H will utilize multi-core? I'm sure the answer can be found. I just don't have the time to look it up. And I figured one you would know.
Also, why do I have problems when I play games, when F@H is running. When I play a game, it gets minimized out of the blue. It won't stop untill I shut off F@H

From what I understand, the multi-core CPUs are seen by the OS as discrete processors, so running F@H on one will be basically the same as running it on a dually (2 CPU sockets on one motherboard) which has been popular for years. You'll just start up a second iteration of the folding app and each will run on its own core.

Others may be able to leave F@H running in the background while they game, however my personal preference is to shut it off when I'm gaming. My rig makes enough heat as it is from my video card while gaming, I don't need my CPU's idle cycles cranking out any more joules of heat on F@H between frames if I can avoid it.

If you run the console version your game will not get minimized. The console version can also be run as a service.

If you switch, make sure you remove the shortcut for the GUI from the Startup folder.
