Yeah, that can suck (if you're on the receiving end and the transfer was done out of anger or maliciousness), but it can also suck for someone who has a valid reason to want to transfer their WUs. Personally, I do tend to prefer the F@H system slightly, but there are merits to both (IMHO), and I'm glad that I'm not the one in charge of making the decision of which to use.Originally posted by: Hyperfocal
It's a wash. SETI has the problem of people quitting teams and taking their production with them.

I have done the "install as a service" thingy on many machines. I never assigned a unique id to any one of them. Now I see that several of my machines are working for team "0". Can I someone get those points to our team without going back and configuring them?
Thanks!
Hmm, that sounds distinctly like the way the RC5 stats (used to?) work. If the F@H stats work that way also, I'd be glad, but unfortunately I have a suspicion that they don't.Originally posted by: Slider76
You can transfer points from team "0" to another team. I can't remember how, but there is a way.
so you can fold for as long as you want with no team, and then join a team and bring those points over to the team. Well at least thats what i remember reading
