Found this on another site. Edited for clarity and the needs of the TeAm.

How do I BORG multiple PCs quickly?

To simplify the process of borging multiple PCs (courtesy of Wedo of the oc forums):

1. Download the "one-click install" file here.
2. Unzip the file to a floppy or to a directory (folder) on the desktop.
3. Edit the client.cfg(change both files) to change your username and teamid (TeAm AT is 198!) for folding. Or you can personalize your friends nicks by putting a special one.
4. Click the Setup.msi
5. Reboot the machine. (there's no prompt, just reboot it after the flash windows are done).
6) Send them to all your friends on icq, irc, e-mail, floppy or cd

That's it!

To get other's to fold for you with this:
1) Let them download the files you've edited or got it by e-mail, cd or floppy
2) Ask them to copy the file to the hard drive.
3) From the hard drive, open the folder and run One-Click.msi

And they'll be running F@H.

P.S. Pls remember ask their permission first. Thanks.

Happy folding
:)

EDIT:mis-read it and got srvany.exe instead of Setup.msi
sorry guys:(
EDIT 2:i must have been very sleepy when doing it. it's One-Click.msi

My biggest problems when trying to Borg more PCs:

1. Convincing potential user that terrorists really won't use their computer to build the next nuclear bomb
2. Convincing potential user that these are not 'evil scientists' just waiting to destroy their computer
3. Convincing potential user that actually using your PC is not bad for it.
4. Convincing potential user that is is kind of silly to have an internet connection if you'd rather your PC was not connected to the internet

/me sighs

It's a program (kind of like FireDaemon) that acts as a "wrapper" to run the Folding@Home CLI client as an NT service.
