I am trying to set up another client for F@H and I keep getting the following error, is it me?

[17:48:09] + Attempting to get work packet
[17:48:09] - Connecting to assignment server
[17:48:10] Couldn't send HTTP request to server (wininet)
[17:48:10] + Could not connect to Assignment Server
[17:48:11] Error: Got status code 503 from server
[17:48:11] + Could not connect to Assignment Server 2
[17:48:11] + Couldn't get work instructions.
[17:48:11] - Error: Attempt #4 to get work failed, and no other work to do.

Well it must have been the server, I was able to get another system up and running F@H!!!

So now I am an old seti guy and I have no clue how this scoring system works. Can someone point me to a quick run down. See I have done 17 work units, for a score of 2005.0 and that puts me at #245 on the team. There are guys there that have 3 times the amounts of work units and they are behind me, why is that?

The points system was adjusted a couple months ago.

Each proteins' WU will take a different length of time to finish on their benchmark computer. The longer it takes to finish the more points it is worth. Your computers points per day should be close if you measure over a week or a month if it is crunching 24/7.

Some WUs may finish in 4 hours or less and others may take as long as 4 days or more.
