F@H - How do keep CPU working always, but pause GPU on idle?

I'm getting bad lag (in Plex, and even just scrolling web pages) while the GPU is folding so I would like to set it to run at idle only, but can't seem to do this through the web interface. Checking the option sets both CPU and GPU to run at idle. How do I configure CPU and GPU individually?

Is there some optimum configuration that allows the GPU to run all the time without causing lag while surfing the web?

DO NOT use the pause/fold/finish buttons to pause just one task (GPU). Those buttons control all tasks, not just one, as you have already discovered.

If you are on the web interface, go to your system tray (windows, not sure about linux) and find the F@H icon, RIGHT click it and open the advanced control.

From the advanced control, right click on your primary (or only) GPU client and select pause from the right click menu. I see there is also an "on idle" option, which I believe you asked about.

Also you could try adjusting the "Folding power" slider, but I've not had the best of luck there in times past. Also that would affect the CPU too.

Please check back if you're still having issues! Happy to try to help.

Right click on the individual task, and use that way, then only that task is paused. Thats using FAH control, I should have put that in my first post. Tonys way may allow you to not have to do that all the time.
