thanks for the mini stats

😛😀

I had been tossing around the idea of making fake stats but I figured the annoyance would outweigh the amusement. Thanks for doing something real.

Welcome to the new guys.

I have just joined maybe 20 mintues ago. I was hoping to run this on my dually, bit it looks like a PITA to set it up to run on both processors. 🙁

Just run the CLI in two separate folders, each started with the -local switch (it works best if you use FireDaemon Pro to set up two services, in which case each needs the -service switch as well), and when you initially configure each one, set one for Machine ID 1 and the other for 2. It shouldn't be that hard. 🙂

And lchyi, PM should be sent shortly.

BTW, thanks for welcoming the members in my absence, rotten1. 😱

Thats what i did for my HT, it actually helped me pump almost 2x more points outta this machine. Not to mention the CPU temps jumped 4C when using HT 😀!

Youe might want -advmethods and -forceasm tags on there too along with -local

And if you want to reconfigure use the -config tag! GL!

I hate FireDaemon. I tried to use it to set something else up once and it never started the damn services.

These blocks take forever don't they? I'm at like 5/2500 :Q

Hmm, sorry to hear about your problems with FireDaemon. Maybe I'm just lucky, but it has always worked fine for me. There exists another service installer for F@H that installs it in a stand-alone configuration (without any helper applications), so if you're interested in that, LMK and I'll get you a link.

And yes, some WUs take forever (several days on an unoverclocked XP1700+ tbred-b). It's normal, but the more complex the WU, the more points you get for it. 🙂
