F@h GPU2 client version beta 6 or beta 8?

I appear to be running 6.12beta6, but on website it shows Beta8. I thought that was odd since i downloaded it and installed it from F@H website.

But my client "about" screen shows im running beta 6 even though I installed beta 8. Am i missing something here?

different filename, same size..

Do you not install over old one like most programs with F@h?
 
Well i'll be, I bet lots of people assume they are running current beta thinking they can just install over old. thanks.
