it's called a gromacs double core......for P4 and Athlon 64 crunchers i recommend using the -advmethods -forceasm switches to get proteins with this core 🙂

Would it be faster on a P4C right than the _78 core. Or is this one of those gigantic new gromacs that were recently released?

thanks for the heads up bgeh!

[edit] if all goes well *crosses fingers* P4 2.533 coming online by end of day 🙂

*and Barton 2.0 ghz uploading finished unit 🙁 once i get a crossover cable and setup a person's home network 🙁

Too bad an AMD Duron (or even Athlon XP) can't take advantage. 🙁

Maybe an Opteron upgrade should be in order (on order?) 😉

You'll need an Opteron or four pronto to stop me from passing you by Thursday morning 😛.

come summer i can guarantee at least 1 more dedicated cruncher of my own. And by the looks of it my hobby of building PCs for ppl seems to be picking up steam. If i get the orders I'm fishing for now i'll be adding some nice high end rigs within the future 🙂

now where's the triple gromacs with SSE3 support? 😛
not that i own one anyway(prescott) 😛
but i'm open to donations though 😉 😀
