F@H EUE at exactly the same place on the same unit !

So how do I get stanford to stop sending me the same obviously bad unit ?

Oh, and I already tried deleting the work directory, unitinfo.dat and queue.dat, and it still sends me the same Wu !!!!

1. They have a section for reporting problems with a specific work unit.
2. You can stop the client (re-boot) then delete the work directory and the queue.dat file to get another WU on your next client start.
2a. I think (I just verified this at the f@h forum in a thread titled same work unit fails at the same point every time) you get the same WU 3 to 5 times before you get a new one, so you may have to rinse and repeat

I've been getting the odd EUE ever since the "upgrade" to version 6.22. I don't even bother to ask Stanford how to fix it because they won't acknowledge they might have an issue. (and you know how much it hurts me to bad mouth 7im when he whimpers about any criticism  )

I think we just have to grin and bear it until they get this debacle straightened out.

What a waste ! Its 13 hours every time it abends, and 5 times would be 2 1/2 days waste !!!

you don't wait for it to fail each time..... You just let it start, shut it down, erase the WU and then start it up again.

PS: yes they do waste our cycles with their premature release of unstable clients and WUs
