F@H blurb in Discover magazine

I just noticed this small article about protein folding & the use of the F@H project in the latest Discover magazine.
You can read it here.
**edit- the link didn't work as planned. Scroll down to the link titled "Proteins Decoded on Borrowed Time"**

One thing the writer i think made a big mistake on was in the wording in the first sentence. Here's a quote:

"A group of chemists and molecular biologists has just completed a landmark study carried out entirely on stolen computer time."

I think that could of been worded a little better than that.

Ugh, that writer had no idea what she was talking about. The time isn't "stolen," or even "borrowed" - on the other hand, it is volunteered by many enthusiastic computer geeks like us. 😎

Anyway, it's nice to see the project getting some exposure. 🙂
