F*ed up my ZIF socket on motherboard. HELP!

Long story - but I broke one of the clips off the ZIF socket on one of my mobos. It looks like the socket has three clips on both sides to attach the HSF to the mobo. Most hsfs have clips that attach to the center thingy only...

Anybody know an HSF that clips to more than one of these clips that I could use with an Athlon 1.13? I would hate to have to throw away a perfectly good mobo with one broken piece of plastic on it.

Thanks!

Plycon has the Taisol CGK742092 on sale. Check it out. I'm not sure what the rating on it is. But I'm sure it will be more than adequate if you aren't overclocking. And if you are, maybe splurge and get the copper bottom one.

Or you can try Artic Silver thermal adhesive. Works decent on a k6-2 of mine. Or try the Zalmon or Mc462 which use through the board mounting. HTH

If you want to search the news items three or four months ago at Hard OCP you will find a ZIF socket that fits in a ZIF socket. It has dip switches inside the socket for motherboards with out multiplier adjustments but it would also solve your problem.
