um, I am pretty sure I manually set my brothers FEAR game to 1280x720 by manually editing the game's configuration file... but i cant think of the file name off the top of my head...

bittorrent seems to be the most reliable way to get it atm unless you have a fileplanet account.
9000 peers and hundreds of seeds, should be pretty easy to fill up your pipe

For those who havent received their cd-key yet, there is a forgotten key lookup on the main page. I used that and got my key email almost immediately.

Downloading it now from Fileplanet (had to wait about 45 mins in line with free servers but getting 330kb/s speeds).

Hmmmm, i'm downloading it now from FileFront.com. Free servers, no lines to wait in, and getting ~600KB/s download speed. 🙂 I should be done with the entire download in about the same time you waited in line. 😛 Which is why I hate FilePlanet... :|

Nice to know theres no lines and its available there, I was just commenting my experience from the download places linked on the official site. Fileplanet actually goes faster than 330k thats just my max download speed with Charter in my area which was better than either the Sierra and Bit torrent links so figured I'd pass the info on. Also X-fire although listed on the official site didnt actually have the file anywhere for download.

Try using other emails besides Yahoo or Hotmail. It worked for me.

Best FPS-MP, IMO. I bought this game when it was first released just for the multiplayer. I still haven't finished the single player, I just play online.

the MP is very action packed although it doesn't have as many players as CSS. the other problem is that all the players I've seen so far...really suck. I got to top of server just by spraying and praying. I also smacked two people in the head with a submachine gun. that was brilliant!

oh yeah, if you want better speeds, go to filefront.com. they should have it on the front page. I got about 500KB/s down.

I never received my key the first time using Yahoo, however the recover cd-key link worked just fine and I got it instantly. For anyone who already registered probably easier to recover the key than to re-register a new email.
