F*cking A-choke!!!

Argo

If that son of a **** wins MVP this year I will personally fly out to New York and hit him upside the head with the trophy! Year after year, game after game the guy proves that the one thing he's the best at is choking.

Just a yankee fan venting here. I realize that the Angels neutralized all our big hitters but while others at least hit the ball hard all A-choke has done was strike out with bases loaded, ground into double plays and make game changing errors.

I would've told you from the beginning that when he got that contract he wasn't worth anything but a 5th or 6th of that at most.... everyone's batting average for the post season was higher than his lol....

hes one of the only reasons the yankees even made it that far.

No he is not. Cano, Rivera, Chacon, Wang and Little are the reason Yankees made. A-choke had pretty much the same success when in matered in regularal season as he did against the Angels.

For crying out the guy bats 30 points lower with baters in scoring position than when bases are empty. And didn't someone mention that he has the lowest batting average with RISP and no outs!

Are you going to play the blame game? I thought only the govt. was playing that right now.

From a non-bitter red sox fan: A-Rod is great if you're already up by 5 runs...the guy will prolly add a few to that...but if you're in a clutch situation...forget about it. He's like peyton manning....his team might be up by 3 scores in the 4th...but that doesn't stop him from throwing two more meaningless touchdowns to pad his worthless stats.

don't blame it on arod. almost every player from the yankees have been choking for the last couple of seasons

On the other hand, Jeter is so clutch and is my vote for the new Mr. October

It's unbelievable how these new Yankees are different from the yankees of late 90s. Those were slightly above average players who were unbelievable in the clutch. Tino, Paulie, Bernie, Pettitte - somehow they turned it on in the post season. Now you have these super-dooper-stars that manage to underperform in the clutch.
