One solid vehicle in a sea of mediocrity won't reverse a decade long slump. I can count only 2 vehicles in Ford's lineup that is competitive with foreign and domestic nameplates - the F-series and Expedition. A number of their other cars are only adequate at best, and unfortunately for Ford, "adequate" isn't enough in the current marketplace.
