Ez Up Chin Up Bar

Hi all. I was looking to do pull ups at home and found this Chin Up Bar @ http://www.rite-life.com/ChinUpBar.php

I was wondering if anyone has one and if it really works as advertised? Is it as easy to install as the product page makes it sound?

If you have one; can you tell me how much you bought it for?

Thanks!

my ex-roommate had one and it was great, you just put the thing on top of the door and pull back. I dont know how much it was though

a friend of mine has one similar to that. or i don't know it could be the same one. worked well and cost about 40 bucks at Big 5 Sporting goods. Thinking of picking one up myself.

Can't speak to the price, but my roommate has one, it just hangs over the doorframe and installs in about 5 seconds, as others have said. One thing to note is that it marred the paint on the doorframe where it was hanging... so just be aware that you may have some touch-up to do.

LOL, I am not dressing up in workout gear and hitting the local jungle gym. That's a good way to get labeled a pedo.

ahhh don't get a spring loaded one! Back in the day my dad had one that was spring loaded and just fit itself into the door kind of like a spring loaded shower curtain... I jumped up and pulled on that beast one time and one side gave and it must have shot like 10 feet, breaking a bunch of crap around me and i cut my foot on glass! ahhh!

I have one. It works great, it's very convenient, and I never feel like it's going to fall or break my door frame.
