Thanks for your help in advance. I am building a new system based on the P5W DH Deluxe. My intention is to use a Raptor on the Intel SATA connectors as my system drive and then mirror a pair of WD RE2 500's on the ASUS ez-backup connectors. While installing XP MCE 2005 on the Raptor, I'd like to move the Documents and Settings folder over to the RE2's.

First, is there a problem with the RE2's and Asus ez-backup not being the C drive? Second, will I need a raid driver on installation for the ASUS ez-backup, or will it let me use the floppy to run the script for moving the Documents & Settings folder?

Thanks!

Your not supposed to need a driver for EZ Back-up - that's why they called it "EZ". However - its supposed to be slow, and I have seen many people dump it after trying it. One Sata port gets split to allow for the two drives and that's why people say it's slow. Technically I don't know why you couldn't put your doc on other drives but I wouldn't guess the EZ Back-up performance would thrill you. I would use one 500 drive on a regular Sata port and use another for back-up externally via usb or eSata.
