I've used a few different software firewall, mainly Norton and ZA. However each requires you to install and configure per PC. In a small home workgroup it is not too bad except for the fact that you have to initially go through and tell it what is ok and what is not for each machine. The software is not at all network ready and not linked.

Is there any software firewall that has an easier way to configure in a network environment? For example, Perfect Disk 7 allows you to schedule a defrag on each network machine that is running PD7. You can also connect to, configure and make global network and options changes from one machine. This is what I'm looking for in a software firewall. Thus taking most of the repetitive step out of the equation.

I've looked at Outpost Office Firewall, but it is pretty expensive.

Thanks for any and all help
