Quick History...

I have really bad allergies, I take allegra and a nose spray.

TWICE in the past 30 days, I've had this really weird reaction, where my eye starts to itch, gets really swollen and irritated...waters really bad as well.

I take some benedryl and a couple hours later it seems to go away.

This isn't happening all the time.....

It seems some something environmental is possible causing it.....

Any thoughts???

Don't tell me to go see a doctor, that is obvious...

Try eyedrops. Opcon-A. About $6-7 dollars. Works well. Non-prescription, although it used to be.

Seems like an odd time to have allergies, maybe its the dryness. Eyedrops will definitely help.

I once had a "cold in my eye" where the virus was able to attack my eye. I had to do that for awhile and the relief was truly amazing.

As for allergy-related stuff, i'm not really allergic to anything, but I've had really itchy eyes that went red once.

I don't remember how long it lasted really, but it was mainly for relief purposes.

salt + water + itchy eye = huge log + toilet + toilet paper = lots of beer + run to toilet + release =

ULTIMATE RELIEF

:)

Go get an allergy vaccination
I go them and I don't get any allergies anymore
Before every winter, my nose would start watering and it would be constantly congested.. I haven't got that since I got the shots.
You will have to suffer through one year of pain though. The shots are very painful as they are injecting something you are allergic to into you.
My arm would swell up MASSIVELY, and I'd get hives and burning itches for hours after the shot. I take the shot once a week.
My arm would burn at itch occaisionally when I wake up for 3 years after the shots. It's pretty much gone now.
I'd say it's worth it if your allergies are bad enough.

The I think about it, I think it's my nasal spray causing this.....maybe I'm shooting it a bit too high in my nose.......

It lists one of the side effects "Oedema" which is water building under the eye area......that would explain it ....

stil going to see the doc...thanks!

DOCTOR!!

No but really they can set u up on allergy shots like every 6-8 weeks so one shot and ur good till your next one..... Nice for ppl who have a hard time during seasonal allergy times....How long in between depends on what all u allergic too and most Insurance covers these.
