Anyone see any potential in this new streaming advertisement technology? I'm fairly impressed by it for rudimentary action, and can see that it is fairly limited. But the idea that small video windows can be used on webpages with little bandwidth necessary to generate the frames, is interesting technology.

Anyone see it replacing XVID for feature length films? Of course not. But for movie clips it just might work.

Its a codec I have been playing with to add support for it to KasterBlaster.

Its interesting the way the codec works.

Instead of compressing files it also reduces the framerate, which is something I have not seen done succesfully before without serious distortion
