Hiyo,

It's been awhile since I post in this forums. Been busy lately but was able to land some asus 20" monitors for my photochop rig. I'm digging the eyefinity so far (no more alt tabs !)

Anyways, where can I download very high res wallpapers off the web for 4800x900 setup?

Welcome to the multi monitor club !

It's nice to have 4 or 5 open windows at once isn't it ?

For my 5760X1080 setup, I found some decent wallpapers by just doing a google image search at that resolution, you may have some difficulty finding them for your resolution however because it is probably less popular.

My standard technique for finding wallpapers is to check out wikipedia's "image of the day" series. They aren't designed to be wallpapers, but they're often obscenely high-res and quite nice to look at.

Kids and their tiny monitors.

LOL,my 37'' t.v at 3 feet away is almost overkill for gaming but i am thinking about picking up a 46'' for dual "monitors" but also so it could be hooked to my sony 1000w home entertainment system.

Got the sony system for 1 reason....to compete with the morons usually the a holes driving the rice rocket hondas with their rap music rattling the trunk and it just does not sound nice and i could out watt any of those douchb*gs cause i doubt most of those idiots have enough alternator output frying their engine harness in the meanwhile...1000w of led zeppelin sounds much better then that crap that sounds like a dog taking a crap while farting with a rap beat....i dislike that crap,i hear it all hours of the night.

That to me is beautiful being to outwatt those ignorant sob's....75% if i am brave enough knocks pictures off my walls if i am playing BF3 LOL

Id' want to do eyefinity with projectors and have absolutely no bezels. Or if I have bezels make myself a gaming-cockpit out of an old discarded jet cockpit section.

This is actually very difficult to achieve. light pollution.

I currently only have 1 projector. 8350, but when my friend brought his over, and we tried to do the dual monitor thing, even on minimum brightness, there was some light pollution going on.

Eyefinity is awesome, I agree.

It's kind of ruined me for single monitor gameplay.

More displays >> bigger displays.

Eh, it really is a matter of personal preference. My PC gaming is done on a 50" Sammy plasma from ~6 FT away and it looks amazing.

I don't see how adding bezels to the mix is going to make it any better. I'll start seriously considering a multi-display setup when we have razor-thin bezels.

I'd much rather have a single 2560x1440 display than three 1600x900

This I definitely agree with.

I can't wait for the day we get consumer level TVs with higher than 1080p resolution.

1080 will have to work for me for a while because I can't go back to "small" displays just for a better resolution.

2560x1600 is almost exactly twice the pixels of two crappy 1080p monitors, and has no bezels. I'll stick with my real display instead of a frankendisplay with big fat bezels.

After a while you don't see the bezels anymore. It's also the only way to get absurd W:H ratios for FOV when gaming. Not all games support it, of course.

A good single monitor has a higher resolution than your pasted together bezel monster, with a sane aspect ratio and no gaps in the picture...
