I also cant stand that distorted look that you get on the outside monitors.

if every game worked perfectly out of the box with 21:9 then I would choose that but I found it a hassle. many people dont even notice the issues in some games so ignorance is bliss for them I guess.

I'm well aware of all those small issues.

By the way my middle monitor is a 4k monitor and I can't even play single monitor anymore. I feel like a horse with blinders.

But you can't really judge from a youtube video. Some people never tried more than 1080p single monitor or Multi-Gpus so ignorance is really bliss for them. You know who I'm talking about.

At least I can tell I tried from 1050 to 2160p and triple monitors and up to four cards so no... No ignorance here. I would say real enthousiast, not casual gamer.

Agreed - I've seen setups like this in real life and couldn't get past the bezels. Give me a large single high resolution monitor over several smaller ones.

I agree the bezels can be annoying sometime but you tend to forget them. Do you notice your glasses frames when you where your sunshine shades or view glasses? Same thing with triple monitors, the brain eliminates those.

And by the way, they are not small monitors, they are 3 x 27" running in 1440p.

I would have to do portrait if I ever felt the need to run a triple monitor setup.

Toyota, I don't think what you are doing here is cool honestly.

I have chosen to be an enthousiasts and push the limit of pc gaming, calling me ignorant is wrong. I'm well aware of the risks involved.

With my rig, I can still play single monitor single card if I want.

look you made a comment that was directed at me and you know it. dont act like the innocent victim just because I responded.

and my earlier comment about ignorance is bliss was about people not noticing some issues when running 21:9 screens and nothing to do with you or your setup.

The bezels look bad because of the way he framed the video. When I tried a triple display setup, the middle one gets most of your focus and the extra ones are just nice should your eyes stray away for a moment. In my testing, I didnt feel that the bezels broke the immersion that much, at least for the type of game I played (racing).

I've done triple monitor before and the bezels aren't a big deal at all. What's really annoying is the fish eye effect in games. Now some are a lot better than others in terms of that. Of course there's the biggest issue which is not being able to run 80+fps on every single game :D

Which is of course why I ditched them and won't go back !

Cool set up man! I would over lap the display edges so as to only have to deal with one bezel instead of the width of two. See what I mean?
The video needs some game play, the intro is kinda boring imho. Some intense battle would do much better.

I tried to overlap them but it doesn't work as it sounds though, I will open a new thread soon with a gameplay video of Grid Autosport.
