Eye-Fi Cards...thoughts?

Anyone use one? How do you like it? I am getting my wife the Canon T3 I am wondering if I should get her an Eye-Fi card as well...Thanks

I have a different model Canon. User manual says that EyeFi cards suck down the battery life. Will that be a problem for your wife?

I don't think their read/write speeds are very fast compared to some other brands, but the whole wifi things is pretty cool. I've been considering getting one to use with my iPad, like shown in the video JohnnyRebel linked.

Don't listen to anyone who hasn't used these first hand, I have. Hands down the coolest/best invention since the dsl-r itself. Haven't had a single issue in over 2years.
