Eye doctor goes CRAZY on news reporter

Hahahahah great video. That guy had to be on drugs or something, seriously. Maybe it's just me, but I can't imagine telling someone to come over and then attacking them like that. Unbelievable.

It's very difficult for me to imagine a context that would adequately explain that behavior. In all seriousness, I think anyone capable of becoming that unhinged with a reporter present, while being filmed, is dangerous and needs to be treated accordingly.

Irrelevant. No matter what he may have said (and actually he doesn't strike me as the badgering type), it doesn't justify a physical assault like that.

right...the reporter was what in this 60s.

What's even funnier the guy claims to have found god. Then goes nuts. when the reporter returns for a 2nd time.

What I find interesting in this video and the other one from la where the reporter gets beat up. why don't the camera men go in and help out. I mean they just keep on rolling.
I'm sure these camera have a button to keep recording as they put the camera down.

He clearly has some kind of adjustment disorder. Actually when I was a military defense attorney I represented a doctor, a major, who had narcissistic personality disorder, and I've never met a more annoying asshole. He was a handsome, well-educated guy with a medical degree, but was so obnoxious and arrogant that he couldn't get out of his own way. He ended up being involuntarily discharged for his personality disorder.

The story never mentions the guy being optometrist or and opthamologist. just that he's an optician. This is in canada so maybe its different from the US what what an optician do. I assume its similar to the US the guy doesn't write prescriptions or anything and just fits people for glasses and contacts etc.

Besides that I never heard of an optometrist that rakes in 500K a year. Opthamologist maybe but optometrist, no chance.

I believe in the case you're referring to the reporter specifically asked the camera man to keep filming. Most reporters would rather take a beating than lose the footage, and the cameraman understands that.
 
Thats from a show called Silverman Helps.

The show's theme is almost like 60 minutes, but is much shorter and in different segments. Peter Silverman has helped hundreds of people with fraudulent companies, and has a reputation of being hard nosed and in your face. At times, he will get angry people yell and threaten him, but they rarely show him being assaulted.
