So Eye wear bottle thick glasses. Each time I goto the optimetrist no matter which 1 I goto they say the same thing "u r the perfect canidate for lasek"

I find this kind of fishy as my eyes dry easily and I've read before that people with thin cornea should not get surgery.

Read here that it is bad idea

I figure all teh computer people here many must wear glasses so many people must also goto eye doctors 2. Do they say the same thing 2 u also? "U R teh perfect canidate for Lasek" Do U think they can be trusted? Is it a honest diagnostic or they just in a hurry to make more $$

Go to a reputable place that offers a free consultation. Hell, go to 2 or 3. If they all offer the same recommendation, then I'd get another opinion yet again. You can never be too safe when it comes to your eyes.

Typically my doctors use the word "the" and suggest lasik eye surgery. But maybe my doctors actually went to school.

Next time one of those says that to you, take out a bottle of Red Stripe and say,

"Boo crazy eye doctor....

...

... HOORAY BEER!"

:laugh: I just had to say it :laugh:

you need to go for consultation. The doctor I work for does not recommend it on every patient. Since I have been working there he has only recommended 2 and that is b/c they asked him his opinion.

I'm guessing your doctor probably does lasik or is partners with somebody who does. Been going to eye docs once a year for about 15 years and they never recommended lasik.
