Is it just me or are there more and more increasingly brutal and violent killings these days. I just read a story about 2 women in Lansing MI who basically tortured a guy to death with a power drill and thats only just barely breaking the top 4 grisly killings I've read about in the last month. Just my imagination? Or is something happening?

Yeah but it's on like msn, MSNBC, etc . Like my first page of the day is now murder central.
Exactly. I just made my mind up to not go to the MSN site anymore just in the last few months. They have ruined their news site in the guise of making it look non-partisan. They increasingly use the click-bait model. Things you shouldn't drink if you want to protect your liver, ect. ect. on and on.

Just googled the incident you referred to and the sad part is that it was over the guy stealing $1 from one of the woman's daughters. $1!

That said, no, I think we have about the same percentage of sick psychopaths these days as ever. Mass shootings are on the rise but not necessarily torture or other violent crime.

It's a bit deeper than that. Apparently the guy was a suspect in the death of a friend of theirs but was never charged and it looks like that was probably the real reason they messed him up.

I think need to stop reading msn and taking it off as my home page. It's like all murders and celebrity stuff.

Still there have been some absolutely sensational murders in the last month. A baseball player who killed his pregnant girlfriend with despicable depravity, a lady who decapitated both of her kids, a guy who shot his wife and smothered his kids, a guy who executed a whole family cause he wasnt invited to his girlfriends families bbq, very very not normal stuff... I wonder if COVID is doing something to people or something

Also, just noticed. The latest update to WIN 10 by default is dropping and innocent looking thing in your tray that looks like weather. If you hover over it, news headline snip-its from other sources are listed, with click bait links to...you guessed it, MSN news. That's going to be gone, shortly.

EDIT: News and Interest feature they call it. Found several how to remove it sites.
