Hi All. I like really thin mouse pads. Any of you use a paper thin variety you like?

I have been happy with 3ms precise surface and an Xtrac pro - both good but the Xtrac is a bit thick (high) for my liking.)

Thanks.

Ordskii,

I use a cordless mouse with my laptop and never use a mouse pad. Just whatever decent surface is available - like now I'm using my table cloth while having coffee. In the evening I sit in an easy chair and use the chair's fabric covering, with laptop where it belongs - in my lap :)

If you really feel you need a pad, I'd go with Sheninat0r's suggestion. Try cheap first and if it works, there you go...

Well, the black and blue pads mentioned above are designed for different mouse tech: one is for laser mice (black) the other is for optical mice (blue). What'll they think of next - tech specific mouse pads...

which is odd because laser mice track bad on black surfaces and red sensor mice track bad on blue surfaces. tech specific mouse pads already exist - i have one.

Go in for steel series or everglide. they are best in gaming mousepads. And I am not kidding.

I also use a Func pad and have been quite happy with it. It's been nearly three years and continues to wear very well.

I use a hardcover book with a silver color. The only gripe I have is that it's a relatively thick-ish book and working for long periods can strain my wrist. :/

Its cheaper than CompUSA if you buy it from Walmart. I got mine for 5$.

As far as the mouse pad is concerned, its great. Works as advertised :D.

awesome info. people have no idea how good these pads are. they perform as good as any ive tried, and they even look and feel great.
