Extremely Tempting!

I've actually seen the GTX 480s going for $249 lately which is hot IMO. A pair of them in SLI would be a force to be reckoned with.

I also saw an open-box GTX 580 for $330 the other day.

I wouldnt. the 570s have circuitry and VRM issues, if its a reference card. That MSi 480 would be awesome to have. Would run a hell of a lot cooler and quieter and probalby overclock pretty good. But Heat(of the GF100 itself) and Efficiency is the only part that bothers me

Da hell a 480 run cooler then a 500 series?

Really?? Did u miss the Hitler trolls about pushing 1 button and ending up nuking germany with tri sli 480's?

I dont think so.... if that was the case, i would be on 480's and not 580's and a 450ti and not 550ti. :hmm:

Thats 100 less then what i paid for my second one, and 170 less then what i paid for my first one.

Where u see that? for that price i wouldnt mind getting a third one.

I agree for similar cash the gtx 570 being a better option than the older gf100 gtx 480. Take a look at Steam Survey, a hellavalotta 570's have been sold. Hearing about a few that o/c's have blown up (trying to make them faster than 580's) is not totally shocking.

no i meant as a whole. the Twin Frozr 480 is cooler then the other 480s. And the price makes it a worthy buy
 
i really wish i could find someone thath as a Twin Frozr cooler for there 470 that htey took off. ill take it off their hands for my 470 since ive decided to keep it and just clock it to 480 speeds till 28nm GPUs come out
