I recently reinstalled Win2k, and upgraded my browser to IE5.5 with 128bit - well its eating all my resources! This wasn't occuring before I formatted - CPU time for IEXPLORE.EXE is 40:51, with system idle only 22 minutes! Under task manager it shows 100% - and this seems to be a regular occurance...I'm not sure what the cause of the problem is, please help out
Also - games under Windows 2000 with my original Athlon 650 and Diamond Viper V770 Ultra are very unstable - and upgrading the graphics drivers tends to cause the system to freeze a lot, even in regular windows, the only drivers I can get to run nice and stable are the ones from MS released with win2k.
