Extremely crap FPS on 1900xtx in Rainbow Six Vegas

On second thought, lay off the overclock unless you know exactly you are doing, if you already have it at 2.4, be sure to check the stability. Having recently read some of your previous posts, I would lay off any further overclocking.

I dunno. I noticed a difference in IQ between default game AF and 16xAF, as well as a noticeable framerate drop. I'll post comparison shots later on.

Okay, here are the comparison screenshots:

AF set to Application Preference

16xAF forced via CP

2xAF forced via CP

It seems there's a slight difference in IQ between the in-game AF and forced 16xAF via the control panel. Forcing 2xAF via the CP seems to lower the IQ as well compared to the default AF values used by the game. So it seems the game sets AF by default. However, the lighting makes it difficult to get a good comparison. I'll try to find a better scene.

And that's with a far superior X6800 & X1950 XTX.

You have posted thread after thread of how many issues you're having.

This time the issue is you don't have an 8800.

It's that simple.

My A64 Winchester is oced to 2.4GHz, I have 2GB RAM and a 1900xtx. I am running 1280x960 MAX with Hardware Skinning On.

The x1950xtx scored 31 with no aa and af on a higher end machine at 1280*960.

I think the only problem is your expectations of the card and your machine..
