Where would be the best place for getting resources for extreme networks's blackdiamond Layer 3 Switch? I'm in this company trying to start new market with Layer 3 switch. but currently we can only afford to buy sumit series. Is there any good web site or news groups where i can find information about those products? any help is appreciated.

 
All Extreme switches have exactly the same user interface. Using one is virtually the same as using any of the others. The only difference is the form factor.

If you have an "i" series, there are some additional features available (mostly queues & queue management). If you have a license/key for the "Advanced" features, I believe that turns on OSPF and BGP.

Check out their site or call 'em. They're great switches.
