Extreme monitor question

I have a 65' dlp tv and wanted to use that as my computer monitor and know if I do that the image will be good at that size?

I have for a video card older but not to bad 2 GeForce 7950 GX2

Depends on the resolution, connection type, seating distance, etc.

unless its 1080p or you're at least 8ft away, it'll probably look pretty crappy at that size. Just my opinion though, but it'd be pretty amazing to do.


I have a 7800gt that runs 1080p just fine for most games except the newest most demanding

the highest res idk wat it is offhand bc i havnt ran the comp yet but the seating is 10ft away and it is 1080p and the connection type is dvi

10ft away with 1080p will look awesome - if theres a game you have issues running at that res, you could turn the settings down to 720p and still be golden.

just remember - you probably dont need AA at 1080 (IMO)
