Hey folks,

Any of you have any suggestions to software/links that can show how to extract the raw PCM data from a wav file? I'm trying to do some DSP on a few example files I have, and my audio Codec takes in data in 16-bit (per channel) format. I know wav's have some form of data padding between what looks like a RIFF header and some other bytes for file information. I haven't been very successful finding a piece of software that extracts the data. Thoughts?

You could open the files in a hex editor and delete the file header. Generally the header is 44 bytes long then the raw PCM data starts. Or, if you can do any programming it is a 5 minute job.
