Does anyone around here know if there's any way to extract a HL CD key once it's been typed in.
My problem is that I have a legit copy of HL, but the CD case is gone.
I do have one installation where the original key is still used though, so if I could get the key from there, I wont have a problem, since I have a burned backup of the game anyways(I never use my original CD's).
Would save me $25 if I could simply extract the key instead of having to buy a new game.
