Extract commands from Hyperterminal file???

I did some configuration using hyperterminal and was able to save the commands in a .ht file. I can see the commands among the various text when I open the file in notepad. But when I open it in hyperterminal I see nothing.

Is there away to extract the commands from the *.ht file to some easily readable format? (i.e. text file)
