extra virus stickies in OT limit effectivness

sobig.F has deactivated itself, and Fwin never amounted to much.

However, they still clutter the OT forum. People like me tend to skip over the stickies when there are too many. It makes it much harder to see the new DCOM sticky.

In a few days, though, 99% of the people will have seen the DCOM sticky, and it would be much better to remove it then, then to wait until it falls naturally.

I agree, definitely unsticky Fwin at least, it affected less than 50 computers according to Symantec.

While it's not an imperative deal, yes, some of the stickies have outlived their effectiveness. It's a bit of a stretch since there are only 5 or so stickies, but I'd agree with you.

I would "guess" that the best way to fix this would be to PM an Anandtech Moderator.

Personally, I think there should be at most two stickies at any one time, but the powers that be seem to disagree.
