I seem to have some extra EFI boot options, how do I remove them? Specifically, I no longer have GRUB2 or GRUB installed, yet they are present in my UEFI boot options.

How do I clear these out?

Thanks!

You have so many boot options, I only have 2. I've looked through my BIOS and couldn't find the option to turn on or off any of them, try clear CMOS with the jumper. Restore defaults might work the same.

The boot options are stored in NVRAM somewhere in the motherboard. Note: Asus UEFI is no better than MSI -- neither can edit the list. On the Linux-side 'efibootmgr' can edit those values. On Windows the equivalent program is 'bcdedit'.

Thus, run 'cmd' with Administrator privileges and learn what bcdedit can do.
