Extra Line-Outs on Philips Acoustic Edge?

I've actually had this soundcard for about a year, but never bothered to check this out, I guess. I'm running a 2.1 speaker set, but I have a HT system and a set of headphones that I want to hook it up to. I'm using that dongle with the 4 connectors or so. Since I'm just using a 2.1 speaker system, I have the output option to "2 Speaker". But I can't seem to get the sound to output on another line. All soundcards that I've used prior to this always had a speaker out, and a line out, or 2 line outs (technically the same thing). I've tried hooking up my headphones to the rear, center connectors, but no luck.

Is this normal for the Acoustic Edge, or is there something wrong with the dongle on mine?

TIA!

I just looked at my manual for the Acoustic Edge and it looks like this is normal for the Acoustic Edge. In order to use the headphones, you connect it to the green connector. It seems you can't have it connected to 2 speakers and headphones at the same time.

Actually, you could do this if your HT setup uses a digital connection. Then you could connect your HT to the SPDIF output and your headphones to the green connector.

Yeah, I suspected as much. I find this kind of strange, since almost every other soundcard out there will have enough outputs for at least 2 audio devices. Thanks for the confirmation StormRider.
